South Australia and Adelaide - 'Let Yourself Go.' 'Breathe.' 'Be Consumed.'
A major client I produced work for in Adelaide was the South Australian Tourism Commission (SATC).
Adelaide - Let Yourself Go was an Australia-wide digital tourism campaign in which I assumed the role of Art Director. Together with my Creative Director we built a successful campaign in record time - location reconnaissance, direction, production, retouching, typography and final supply of assets for delivery were turned around in 3 days.
The client was so happy with the final imagery and typography. It's success instantly resulted in oncoming schedules and budgets being changed specifically to allow it to be repurposed and used from then on as the hero style.
Our team was involved in some of the most successful, revolutionary and genre-defining campaigns that have been viewed on the world stage. Case-in-point 'Barossa - Be consumed' the cinema TV commercial which has won awards all over the world including the Cannes Corporate awards up against brand Goliaths' like Audi, Porsche and Sainsbury's. Below are the two category-defining 'Barossa' and 'Adelaide' TV commercials. Whilst my involvement in the TV production was limited, my tasks on completion were to propagate the visuals, video and campaign traits to print and digital/online advertising - through retouching and finished art for press and distribution by our digital team on building animated art and advertising for the web.
